Behind the Scenes

Ronaq Restaurant opened it’s doors first in May 2014 in Comely Bank Edinburgh. Located just a mile from Edinburgh city center, we endeavoured to bring a fine dining experience in Indian cooking. What sets Ronaq apart from every other Indian Restaurant in Edinburgh? Definitely our passion for cooking and providing great tasting, well-cooked, and brilliantly presented food.

You’re invited to choose from an extensive menu that has something to please all taste buds. For those who prefer Masala to Madras, there are plenty of options to choose from. Our menus have a wide choice of vegetarian selection to choose from. Testimonials

I booked a table to celebrate our 23rd wedding anniversary and as the title states everything was superb. The staff were amazing, friendly and made us feel very welcome. We had chicken tikka and mushroom pakora for starters which were fresh, hot and tasty. For the main course my husband chose Lamb Madras and I had King Prawn Bhunna, both were exceptionally tasty. We really enjoyed our evening and it was well worth the 60 mile round trip.
Tried this restaurant for the first time - will be back for sure. Delicious authentic dishes - a great choice and so so tasty. The best restaurant curries I have had in years.
One of the best Indian restaurants in Edinburgh. The food had a unique taste and service was excellent. The ambience of the restaurant was quite good as well with a view of the Waverly station.
